Woodlands Retreat offers guests a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in a luxurious purpose-built home set on 180 acres surrounded by Highlands wine country. This architecturally designed home makes a statement with its formal landscaping, quality craftsmanship and wonderful location overlooking the property. It is perfect for couples and wedding group accommodation.

Enjoy rural views from every room including the individually styled north facing bedrooms, each named after a famous golfer and each with their own private patio with beautiful views of the rolling hills in this peaceful rural setting. They include plasma TV with Netflix, heaters and ceiling fans, built in wardrobes with bar fridge / tea making facilities, heated flooring in private ensuites and stunning individual styling. There is a large fifth bathroom offering a magnificent bath for those who want to soak their stresses away.

The ambience in the dining and formal living areas is second to none with a large gas flamed fireplace dividing the two areas. Enjoy the north facing sunroom in winter which catches the sun and has a cosy open fireplace. The cathedral ceiling with fan, indoor bbq and large sliding glass doors turn this area into a convenient indoor/outdoor entertaining room in the summer months. There is also a large but cosy and intimate media room with comfortable lounge to retreat to with a book, a board game or a movie.

Outside enjoy the seasonal firepit, beautiful nature walks on the property, the island golf green and the joyous sight of horses and foals running through the paddocks. Woodlands Retreat is home to TPC Woodlands Island Golf Green which is a replica of the famous TPC Sawgrass 17th Island Green; guests have exclusive access to the island green during their stay. With four tees ranging in distance from 120 metres to 160 metres, guests can hone their skills as they attempt to hit the Island Green.

The property is also home to the Highlands Valley Warmblood Stud which breeds quality equestrian horses primarily for dressage. There is no guest access to the equestrian ring or stables, but the horses are a sight to behold in the paddocks in front of the house.

Breath in the fresh air, take a short drive to Berrima or Bowral for quality shopping and dining and complete the evening with a gorgeous sunset you will never want to leave this quintessential Highlands property!

This property is a rural working farm with livestock, machinery and unfenced dams. Care needs to be taken when roaming the property and children must be supervised at all times. There are out of bounds areas and it is important guests follow the signs and instructions in the guest information folder at the property and that they remain on the gravel pathway between the house and the island green.

This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

Directions to the property and Key/Access details will be emailed to the guest at 4pm two days prior to arrival.

Extras available for hire include rollaway beds, porta-cots and highchairs. Send us a message to check availability and cost.

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay.

Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

This property is NOT pet friendly.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for “Schoolies” breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.

WiFi is not guaranteed. This is a service offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge for this service we will attempt to fix issues as they arise but cannot be held accountable.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.
